Two holiday houses to rent
in the Pays d’Auge
At the Hameau des Prés-Verts, each house has its own character and its own living space. Reinette Grise has half-timbering, an open fireplace and a large private garden; the Chalet Normand pairs a contemporary interior with a terrace overlooking its heated pool. Both are in Les Champeaux, in the Orne, near Camembert.
You rent the whole house, with its fitted kitchen, even if you come alone or as a couple. Families and friends choose according to the number of guests and the layout of the bedrooms. For larger groups, the two houses can be booked together. Pets are welcome in both gîtes.

A Normandy house with a private garden
Beams, half-timbering and an open fireplace make for a warm interior, with a sitting room, a dining room and a fitted kitchen. The private garden invites you to have lunch outside, light the barbecue or read in the shade of a tree. The house suits a few days on your own, as a couple or a holiday with others.
Two bedrooms, including a master suite
Reinette Grise has two bedrooms in all. One is a master suite with its own bathroom and WC. The house sleeps up to 6 people; if the exact sleeping arrangements matter for your group, please get in touch before booking.

An interior that opens onto the terrace
The kitchen and its bar lead on from the sitting room, under the painted roof timbers. A hanging stove keeps the cooler evenings cosy, and reversible air conditioning lets you adjust the temperature through the seasons. The terrace gives you a place to have lunch, read and enjoy the countryside.
Two connecting bedrooms and a private pool
Each bedroom has a double bed. They are connecting, which means you walk through the first to reach the second: something to bear in mind when planning a stay with others.
The heated pool is for Chalet Normand guests only. It is open from 1 May to 30 September, and may stay open longer if the weather allows.

Book both gîtes together
for up to 10 people
For a family holiday, a get-together with friends or a gathering of several generations, you can book Reinette Grise and the Chalet Normand for the same dates, subject to availability. You have two separate houses, two kitchens and four bedrooms in all, for up to 10 people: 6 at Reinette Grise and 4 at the Chalet.
Everyone has their own space to return to after the time spent together. Before you book, we go through the sleeping arrangements, the meals and the facilities open to the group with you. The Chalet’s bedrooms remain connecting. The pool belongs to the Chalet; how it can be used when both houses are booked together is to be agreed with your hosts.

The outdoor hot tub, at 38 °C, is included in the price of your stay: book your time slot in advance to enjoy it in private. Sweet, savoury and mixed breakfasts are available as an optional extra at €13, €15 and €17 per person; the signature brunch is €24, from 11am.
On a holiday in the Pays d’Auge, each house lets you keep to your own routine: going to the market, cooking, coming back between two visits or spending a whole day at home. So a stay on your own or as a couple is not chosen by the number of bedrooms alone, but also by the outdoor space and the atmosphere you want to come back to each day.
