Your stay in Normandy
in a charming house
A few days for a change of scene, a week’s holiday or a midweek break: the Hameau des Prés-Verts is yours to discover at your own pace. At Les Champeaux, in the Pays d’Auge, our two independent houses welcome solo travellers, couples, families and friends.

Start by choosing the space that suits you. Reinette Grise sleeps up to 6 people and has a large private garden. The Chalet Normand sleeps up to 4 and has a heated pool reserved for its guests. Both houses have a fully equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi, and you are welcome to bring your pet.
A solo stay in Normandy, at your own pace
Travelling alone leaves more room for what you feel like doing: reading in the garden, choosing a walk, visiting a cheese dairy or keeping the morning to yourself. You can book Reinette Grise or the Chalet Normand and have the whole house to yourself, with a kitchen so you can plan your meals as you please.
Breakfast can be added as an option. The hot tub is included in your stay, with a private slot to book in advance. A few days midweek or a longer holiday: choose your dates and the atmosphere that appeals to you.

A stay for two in the Pays d’Auge
Breakfast at home, a walk between the hedgerows, back at the house before evening: there is no need to fill every day. Reinette Grise and the Chalet Normand both suit couples. The half-timbering and the garden may guide your choice as much as the Chalet’s terrace and pool.
To round off your romantic break, the outdoor hot tub at 38 °C is included, with a private slot to book in advance. Breakfast prepared at the Hameau can also be added to your booking.

Holidays with family or with friends
Renting a whole house means you can keep your own routines and gather round the table at mealtimes. A fully equipped kitchen, room to unwind between outings and some outdoor space are all part of the stay. Choose Reinette Grise for up to 6 people or the Chalet for up to 4, bearing in mind that one of its bedrooms is reached through the other.
Camembert, the markets of the Pays d’Auge and the Haras national du Pin (France’s national stud) offer plenty of ideas for days out. To gather up to 10 people, book both houses together, subject to their availability on the same dates. Guests are then split between two independent houses: contact us to plan the sleeping arrangements and the organisation of your stay.

Getting together with colleagues in the countryside
Looking for a place to think things through together, or to extend a meeting with a few days in the countryside? The two houses can welcome a small group, subject to availability and to the spaces suiting your project.
This is an idea for a stay to shape together with your hosts. Tell us how many people are coming, the sleeping arrangements you would like and what you need for work, so we can check what can be arranged on site.
A season for every mood
Spring and summer outdoors
Orchards, walks and meals outside find their natural place in the day. At the Chalet Normand, the heated pool is open from 1 May to 30 September, and may stay open longer if the weather allows.
Autumn and winter in peace and quiet
The bocage (hedged farmland) changes colour, the markets follow the season and the houses invite you indoors earlier. The hot tub is included all year round, with a slot to book in advance; the lanes and villages remain good reasons to spend a few days in the Pays d’Auge.

Plan a few days or a longer holiday
For a short stay, favour places close by and keep some time for the house. Over several days, you can add Lisieux, Falaise or an outing to the Côte Fleurie. A car makes these trips, and the everyday shopping, much easier.
Check availability for your dates, then choose your options. If you cannot decide between the houses or would like to come as a group, we can help you plan your stay.
Two houses, two ways to stay
The Chalet Normand, for up to four; Reinette Grise and its master suite, for up to six, as a couple or as a family.
