The interactive map of Normandy

Seventeen destinations and the markets of the Pays d’Auge, set around Les Champeaux. Choose a place: the map draws closer, the road traces itself from the Hameau and the driving time appears.

Camembert is ten minutes away, Lisieux forty, the Côte Fleurie a little over an hour. Mont Saint-Michel, two hours and twenty minutes away, is best kept for a whole day.

Staying near Camembertand exploring Normandy

The Hameau is in Les Champeaux, in the Orne part of the Pays d’Auge. Camembert and Vimoutiers are about ten minutes away by car; Livarot is around twenty minutes. Cheese dairies, markets, walking trails and half-timbered villages make it easy to plan your days without long drives.

The Haras national du Pin (France’s national stud), Falaise, Lisieux and the Côte Fleurie make for further outings. Staying several nights lets you alternate visits with the pleasure of cooking what you bring back from the market, or simply spending a day at the house.

Reading the map,
planning your days

On a computer, hover over a point or a card: the destination stays selected, the road traces itself, then the place comes to life. Drag to move around, and zoom with the scroll wheel while holding Ctrl (⌘ on a Mac). The All of Normandy button takes you back to the full view.

On a phone or tablet, the tabs sort the places by driving time, and the cards slide under your finger: the one in the middle shows its place on the map. The markets tab gives each village’s days and square.

Driving times checked on 27 September 2026, for a Tuesday departure at 10 am, rounded to the nearest five minutes.

A house to come back to

After the road, Reinette Grise and the Chalet Normand await you in Les Champeaux, in the quiet of the bocage.
