The hot tub at 38°C as evening falls over the meadows
Towards the end of the day, the light changes over the hedges and meadows of Les Champeaux. Under the Hameau’s wooden gazebo, the hot tub offers another way to enjoy the landscape: you stay outdoors, wrapped in warm water.

This moment can follow a walk, a visit to a cheese dairy or a day spent reading at home. It is simple to arrange: just book a time slot with your hosts during your stay.
The view from the gazebo
The hot tub sits beneath a wooden roof that opens onto the bocage. Your eyes follow the meadows and hedgerows, and the sounds of the countryside come to the fore as the day slows down. A bench lets you linger in the gazebo for a moment before heading back to your house.
The charm of the place lies in this direct link with the outdoors. Rather than leaving the Hameau for yet another outing, you can give the end of the day to a moment on site, then cook dinner in your gîte’s kitchen.
A different mood with each season
On fine days
After a day out in the Pays d’Auge, the evening light stretches your time outdoors. The garden and terrace have hosted your meals; the gazebo becomes another way to enjoy the countryside, at the pace of your booked time slot.
In the cooler seasons
In autumn and winter, the crisp air contrasts with water heated to 38°C. The hot tub is included in your stay all year round, with a time slot to book in advance. It makes a restful stay outside the summer months easy to imagine, with shorter days out and moments to come back to at the Hameau.
Planning this moment during your stay
Access to the hot tub is included in the price of your stay, at Reinette Grise as at the Chalet Normand. Book your time slot in advance to enjoy it in private. Bathrobes, towels and slippers are provided.
To choose your time slot and check the details, get in touch with your hosts beforehand. This reserved time lets everyone enjoy the space as intended.

Leaving room in your plans
A stay in the Pays d’Auge does not need an outing every hour. You can choose a visit in the morning, come back for lunch and keep the afternoon at home. The hot tub belongs to that way of travelling: giving time to the place you chose for your holiday.
